The Division of Infectious Diseases provides comprehensive care and management of patients with infectious diseases of varying complexity. Our team comprises qualified specialists that are well supported by other healthcare professionals, and are committed to deliver tailored and evidence-based treatment plans to patients, aiming to restore their health and overall well-being.

We also steer the hospital epidemiology, and infection prevention and control programs including antimicrobial stewardship, and are heavily involved in preventing the transmission of multidrug resistant organisms and ensuring that this critical aspect of patient safety is well-managed.

  3. Preparedness and Outbreak Response: Our team is well equipped to respond and contribute to infectious disease emergencies of various scale, providing not only clinical expertise but also training, education and public health response support across an institutional as well as national level.
