At the Urgent Care Centre, priority will be given to patients with life-threatening emergencies and more serious conditions who require immediate care. For patients with conditions assessed to be non-urgent, please note the waiting times may be longer and the estimated times are as below.
UCC provides treatment for patients presenting with urgent and emergent illnesses and injuries, excluding specialist treatment for ENT/Eye conditions, obstetrics and gynaecological conditions, psychological/psychiatric conditions and conditions requiring emergent surgery.
If you are unsure whether you should visit UCC for your medical condition, simply call the Virtual Care Centre Hotline at 8181 3288 [8.00am - 5.30pm, Mondays - Fridays (excluding PHs)]. Alternatively, you may book a same-day consultation here at your nearest GP or polyclinic to seek medical treatment for non-emergency conditions.
Alexandra Hospital is a member of NUHS healthcare cluster, therefore patients may also be admitted to National University Hospital under the cluster based on their conditions and diagnosis, as determined by doctors.
